Hey guys. . .
The other day I was in the process of burning some information onto a cd but was interrupted because it was the end of class. . . So I somehow cancelled the action by ejecting the cd and pushing that little x to stop it.

Now I have this .fpbf folder that is stuck on my desktop. I went back in and finished burning the folder but it's still on my desktop. I've tried dragging it to the trashcan, command deleting it, and even tried deleting it through the terminal. It still won't delete and now it's starting to bother me. . .

Any ideas on how I can delete this thing?

Thanks in advance for any replies and help!

If you really want to remove this, open up a Terminal window and type the following:

sudo rm -r /Users/[your short user name]/Desktop/.fpbf

You will be asked for your password.

i didnt have the same file, but i have had it before where a file got stuck basically and wouldnt delete. i found a few programmes on macupdate.com for deleting files and tried them all. some didnt work but i kept trying till it went!
