Deleting from Winterboard

Did a successful Jailbreak last night - thanks to you guys!! Now I filled up my winterboard with so much crap - LOL I need to clean it up but cant figure out how to delete items from it. Do I really have to go find the apps on Cydia and uninstall from there???

In cydia check under the manage tab. Click on something you wan to remove. It should come up with a modify tab in the upper right. Click on that and another window will pop up to reinstall or remove.

You can also SSH into it. Recommend that down th road though.
