hi, I've had my iPhone 3G for a couple of days now and I have to say so far it's been brilliant. I don't know how I ever lived without an iPhone before.

However I've searched the forums and haven't found anything but does anybody know how to delete the search history on google search in safari? i.e. when you start typing in the box it comes up with suggestions based on previous searches, does anybody know how to reset that? sorry if it's a simple question and any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

why don't want someone to see that you were searching for "nude asian babes" :D

This is like the fourth thread I've seen like this. LOL! You could just say, "I was searching for porn on my phone and now I don't want to get caught" instead of sounding innocent. We all know why you really want our help. :D:D:D:D:D:D tehe

I went to search for "iPhone Speed Test" today in google, only to find one of my friends WHILST playing w/ my phone, did a search for "iPhone Porn" :p

classic.

lol well im 18, what do you expect? ...but no believe it or not it actuly wasn't porn. and thanks for the replies, CD3660's method worked.

As Randman said above -

You can clear the safari cache from the settings menu, its almost like clearing your cookies etc on a PC.

lol@ASN21.... Asian Babes.... <shakes head>

Hi sorry for bringing up a dead 3 month old post but i was searching for this and found it... for future searchers...

Busted lol.

FYI, to clear the Google search you have to go to history in the Safari App, clear the history, go to settings, clear the history, the cookies, and the cache, then (in settings), switch the search engine to yahoo, go back to safari, clear the history, go back to settings, clear the history, the cookies, and the cache, then switch the search engine back to google and all should be gone (at least that's what I remember from the other threads about this topic). And just realized this is an old thread - sorry! But it might help the next guy who searched for ________. Haha.

you actually dont need to do all that ****... just go to the autofill tab in safari preferences and click edit in the other forms... just remove the .google thing and its done... sorry for the las post but i unno why it doesnt show the rest of it.
:D
