If you are one of the ios6 users who's iphone had a treatment of apple's storage vampirism AKA ios7 OTA which is automatically downloaded to your phone over WIFI please refer to the following thread I created which will show you how you can reclaim that lost space and prevent future downloads over your WIFI.

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1646519/

And for those not interested in having to open a second thread for the info:

"In order to delete the pre-existing OTA update from your phone, backup to either computer or icloud (icloud preferred as it saves your app scheme), Delete all content and settings (essentially wiping the phone), then restore from said backup."

That's nifty and all, but unless you turn wifi off/keep unplugged/fill your phone to the brim, its just going to download it again right?

This might help..

You are linking the same thread I just linked.

That's not going to do anything by itself.

I think I am just going to suck it up and drop 7 on my daily driver 4s..

My other 4s will remain at 6.1.2 forever I imagine...

I know my 3gs and 4 will stay on 6.1.3 forever, since they are nothing but iPod/Netflix toys for the kidos

I didn't look at the thread you linked, I didn't care enough sorry..
