I need to delete about 1,000 emails from my iPad; all have been read. How do I do this without having to do one at a time? Thank you anyone who can help me. A Perry, Greensboro, NC

Good Question. I can't seem to find how to do it in ios7 either (not that you could do it in ios6 from what I remember). Is there some trick somebody knows???

I guess you could just delete the entire account and then re-enter the name and password. That would probably be the quickest way to do it without a delete all button.

Deleting the account would only work if they were in the trash. If they are in the inbox then they will stay there

You either swap from right to left to bring up the buttons or hit edit to get the radio buttons to select and hit delete once.
