Deleting items

Ok, so after deleting a view huge files on my computer... 1gig+ files. I noticed that my available hard drive space isn't increasing... what gives!?!

Did u empty trash?

It's been backed up into your local mobilebackups volume. The space is release after a few days ( or weeks ) or is release when your hard drive is full. If you don't like it this way, you can simply turn off this "cool" feature by opening up a terminal and typing in "sudo tmutil disablelocal" .
