I get a lot of annoying calls from Barack Obama foundations asking for money (that's what I get for registering to vote in front of a stadium)...

But anyway, is there a way I can clear only a particular call off my "Recents" list?

It seems stupid that I have to clear the entire list. Maybe I'm the moron and I'm just missing something simple.. :\

Unfortunately, you'd have to clear all.

Pretty weird considering it's not hard at all to implement a delete individual...probably like an hour tops?

Wow.. go figure. How stupid to leave something like that out.
Thanks for the quick answer. =)

are you SURE you arent trying to delete a missed call from a misstress that you dont want your wife/gf to see.. or even worse.. a new boyfriend! j/k

not that theres anything wrong with that

Haha, I was actually thinking about that before I made this topic, which is why I took the time to explain my particular situation. =)

there is no other reason to need to delete a "missed" call, why would you care if you have them in the log, unless its something that may get you in trouble.

not that I care, its just not hard to read between the lines on this one...

Meh. No need to judge. ;)

You can't delete a single call record, but you can mask it if you want. Just add the dubious number as a second line for an existing contact. Better yet, create a contact called "Apple" (you know, AppleCare, etc) and add it there. Problem solved. ;)

How about there being absolutely no way to tell if a call in the Recents list was incoming or outgoing? Or how long it was?

Thanks, Apple!

Yes, this needs to be fixed along with the ability to clear only selected calls.

Why do you people have so much to hide?

Do you close your curtains at night? Do you close the bathroom/stall door? Are you hiding something?

Some of us prefer to not leave a record of activities that can fall into anyone's hands. Something as simple as a surprise birthday or holiday gift can be ruined by call logs.

Tap on the little blue arrow on the right of the entry in the call list, it takes you to a page with info about the call which says "Outgoing call", "Missed call" etc. at the top. ;)
