so if i delete a text message thread on the phone, it will still appear on the watch....and vice versa, if i delete a text message thread on the watch, it will still be on my iPhone

i have checked my settings and it is set to "mirror my iPhone" so I'm not sure why both devices are acting separately...is this happening for anyone else?

Unfortunately deleting messages doesn't sync with ANY of the Apple devices :(

That's why I ended up turning off messages on my Mac and my iPad, as I didn't want to have to delete the same messages 3 times. Shame.

Deleting messages on the watch is a slow process :(

I've no idea why Apple decided it should work that way.

Yeah, I have the same problem. It is weird because call logs sync between watch and phone whereas messages do not.

People have the same problem here as well: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1873908/

not really a "problem" more like apple isnt doing it. they dont sync between iPhone / iPad and or mac either
