My MobilitySync folder has a lot of old backups from 2011, 2012, etc. I don't current own any iDevices that I owned back then. Is is OK to delete these folders? The individual files are not big but the sum of them is well over 200GB. So I'd love to reclaim that space if these are useless files and not connected to any current backup. I only do iTunes backups, not iCloud.

I think it will be ok. Doubtful those old MobilitySync files have anything relevant in them anyway.

I would do a full iTunes backup, and if the files in the MobilitySync folder have not changed, go ahead and delete them. As long as you have a most recent iTunes backup file somewhere, you should be good.
