This is sooooo slow now in 8.3
Select pic, press the trashcan icon, then a personal computer from the 1980s takes over and deletes the photo...
 
yeah, seems like too many steps, but they are instant for me also--:)

From selecting delete to the photo disappearing and the next photo in my camera roll showing on the screen, I would say that it takes twice or maybe three times as long as it used to with 8.2
Obviously I'm not talking ten minutes, more a couple of seconds, but it seems slow.
 
no, it is instant. i think, unfortunately, your phone has always been a little off--:(

I notice the smallest details.☺️
It was quicker prior to 8.3, noticeably so.
 
From when I press the delete button to when the picture is gone is less than one second, so I'm not sure how it could be faster, unless you maybe sped up the fadeout animation.

It just seems slower than it was. Not instantaneous anymore, it now seems to pause briefly before deleting.
