iPod Deleting photos from ipod 2nd gen

I have synced my ipod several times with the sync photos tab unticked, still there are photos on the ipod, how do i get rid of them, there is no camera roll as the ipod has no camera, there is no delete or dustbin icon, i have tried everything, can someone please help me with this.

Are you talking about your Photo Stream? That's an option under Settings - iCloud - Photo Stream.

No i am talking about my now old version 2nd gen ipod, i cannot delete the photos that are still there after i have unticked the sync photos in itunes, as the ipod has no camera i dont know how to remove them.

How did you get photos on it in the first place? Disk mode?
