So I've been trying to delete a few pictures from my iPhoto account for years now. Basically nearly a decade ago I had a a GF that liked to take "photos". Many years later I live with a new GF and she often uses my computer or iPad. Well I've been trying to delete a few choice pictures for years now. I thought I had the problem licked. But after downloading the latest OS update and flipping through the new Photo App, well, there it was. A picture I was sure I had deleted.

Thank God I didn't activate iCloud.

Yes, I deleted the picture in Photo (and few others which aren't so bad, but still aren't what current GF wants to see). And yes I then went in "permanently deleted" it as well. I'm sure I've tried to do this in the past.

I'm really not sure if this time it will take. But I'm hopeful. And if not, well the battle continues. Time Machine backup could still do me in, I suppose. But GF or future wife is unlikely to ever delve through that. And eventually the HD will crap out on that machine. So I'm not too worried there. As long as Apple and its iCloud finally lets this thing go, I should be okay.
