I saw in the "2.2 is out thread" that someone pointed out that a new 2.2 feature is being able to delete podcasts from the iphone itself - meaning no more sycning to iTunes.

Someone else said that thats not a new 2.2 option and that feature has always been there. Other people agreed w/ this guy.

Im still on 2.1 and I have 6 or 7 podcasts on my iPhone. How do I delete it??
I tried swipping my finger across the podcast title and nothing happens.

Ok I see the "deleting off iPhone" feature only seems to work w/ video podcasts.

Can someone confirm it will not work w/ non video podcasts.

go to podcasts click on one of them and swipe it. if it still doesnt work then i dont think you know how to swipe

Maybe I don't know how to swipe then. Does it matter if the podcasts are under 1 heading? The 2 video podcasts I deleted were individual one where the 3 audio podcasts are 3 parts of 1 podcast show.

I'm pretty sure you could not delete audio podcast on 2.1. On 2.2, now you can swipe to delete.
