No matter what I try, Aperture continues to build previews and the folder is over 50 GB - at which point it only stops b/c my computer doesn't have any more space on the HD.
I've turned off maintain previews using the little gear symbol near the top of the inspector, turned off auto generate previews in settings and set the preview size and quality as low as possible in settings, and then I've gone under Photos and deleted the previews for the library. However, every time I open Aperture it starts regenerating all the previews.
Also when I open Aperture, it generates thumbnails in the Previews folder, even though there is a thumbnails folder with over 10 GB on it (that also rebuilds when Aperture is opened if I delete it).
I know I have to have thumbnails, that's not a big issue, but is there any way to delete these previews? It's insane that they take up over 50 GB (and probably much more if I had the room on my computer, iPhoto previews were 80 GB before I switched to Aperture and deleted the library).
