deleting printer drivers

if i delete the printer folder from my library, erasing all the drivers, and i get a printer down the line, can i just DL the drivers form the makers site? im tryin to free up space

also what are the best ways to free up space, like how can i get rid of the garageband loops and stuff

I deleted all printers except HP one I need. No issues at all.
I think you can always restore them from your OS disk.

You may also remove languages and architectures you don't need (i.e remove PPC from binaries for Intel macs).

yep, no problems deleting printer drivers, language packs, and garage band loops......just drag to trash & empty.......

If you have non-universal apps that you need to run under rosetta, do NOT delete the PPC binaries, if you do your ppc apps will no longer work, otherwise you can chunk them too
