Deleting problem

Suppose you want to delete 5 files and you use the cmd+delete command to delete them, to me sometimes if you do it one by one it eventually stops deleting them and keeps on thinking. I mean, from that point i mention onwards, any file i try to delete gets on a finder queue where the finder says "preparing to delete"
Only way to fix is killing the finder
Does anyone has this problem? I've had it since always, not only mavericks.
