deleting recent & missed calls off the apple watch

how do i delete the recent and missed calls off the apple watch?
when i delete them off the iPhone the calls i placed and received on the watch still show up on the watch but not on the phone.

currently my recent list is empty on the phone but there are calls still showing up on the watch. i have tried force touch but can't find an option to remove the recent and missed calls.
