Hi, I'm relatively new to Mac. I deleted several trial programs by dragging them to the trash can, but I'm seeing some traces of them left behind in the library (plist) and such. Can I safely delete these if the applications are no longer on my computer.

If I install something like CleanApp, will it get rid of these stragglers if the program is already deleted?

Thanks much in advance.

I'm no expert because I am relatively new to Macs also, but I use these two small apps to locate any remaining bits and pieces from a program that I've trashed. Even when I dragged the program into appzapper it didn't get rid of all the residue. Here are the two apps I use, one right after the other because one finds some that the other doesn't.
The free apps are:

find file and easy find.
Just google them +Mac and you will find the web site to download them. Hope this helps.
