Deleting SMS from Macbook (M1) doesnt delete from my iPhone or Apple watch

Does anyone know whats wrong here? I have icloud sync activated on all my devices, but when i delete a sms from my mac or apple watch, it will only delete the sms from that device only, and not on my other devices. But when i delete the SMS from my iPhone (iOS 16), it will delete them on my Mac too, but not my apple watch.

How can i get these to sync, so that when i delete a sms from one device, it will delete the sms on ALL my devices?

Icould sync is active on all devices. I have tried to logout and login on icloud, but that didnt help.

Welcome to yet another thing that doesn't sync well within the Apple ecosystem. That's just the way it is and we don't talk about it ha.

Is your iPhone running iOS 16? Since I updated yesterday I have the same issue. Both my iPad and Mac can’t don’t sync deleted messages to the iPhone. But if I delete them on the iPhone they delete on the other devices. Odd bug.

im running 16 now, but had same problem while running on 15
