iPhone Deleting videos not freeing up space in iOS 8.0.2

Problem is there both on my iPad Mini and iPhone 4s running iOS 8.0.2. After capturing a video I checked the free space under settings and manage storage, then I deleted the video. Deleted video still does not free up memory! Performed a reset and set both devices as new, the problem still exists!

This worked for me! Thanks a lot mate, I thought it was an iOS 8 bug. You just saved me from some major headache.
