So I just checked UPS and my rMBP has now 'reached its destination' which makes sense as I live next to Perth (UK) and the destination it says is Dundee which is just 20 miles away.
Apple also just sent the email billing me.
So all is good except I'm at university in Edinburgh and won't be home till late, I am rather impatient and would love to have this to play with over the weekend as it's my first Mac so you can imagine my excitement.
If they decide to deliver it now I won't be home and none of my family are about as they are either at university themselves or work. So that means I'll have to wait till Monday at the earliest.
Or they decide just to leave it at the depot and deliver it on Monday anyway.
Is there anyway of contacting the depot so I could pick it up on my way home (I have proof of address and ID with me). I don't know if it's UPS who delivers it to the door or a regional contractor like Royal Mail, DPD etc? So have no idea who I should call?
