Delivery Dates Already Slipped

Looks as if the Space Grey Aluminium delivery time has already slipped as mine said 24/04-08/05 when I preordered :D

I really hope soo I ordered at 8:02 :mad: The apple store on my phone came up went down then I shut down and it worked again after 2 tries soo hopefully should be alright :D
 
My SS order processed at 3:08 and already says 5/13-5/27, so don't feel bad.
 
If it weren't for Apple Pay I doubt I would've completed the purchase before shipping times began to slip.

I would assume that means the 24th.
 
The ship times are more than likely estimates based on current inventory or maybe future expected inventory?

There's 2 weeks before official launch and if I was head of manufacturing, the preorders would help me dictate which models I ramped up production on to help meet demand.

Hopefully Apple learned a little production shifting based on the iPhone 6/6P supply shortage that lingered for quite some time.
 
The $10-12K gold Edition models are shipping in July and August, and the $17K rose gold is unavailable for purchase, dammit! Good thing I ordered the Sport for $399, arrives no later than 5/8. ;)

Unfortunately, Apple knows exactly what they have in "stock". Artificial or not.
 
All of the 42mm Sport ones are at 4-6 weeks now! I had to settle for the green one because the SG ones were gone in minutes. Stupid website went up late. I feel bad for anyone who didn't use the app.

They know how to create "mass frenzy" with launches. Sounds much better to hear on TV and online that the watches available on launch day "sold out" in 5 minutes. The mainstream media doesn't get quantities sold to attach to the story so this trick will make many people feel that the Watch is the must have item of the year.

Exactly. It's designed to have that exact sold out in five minutes statement reported. They can always bump up delivery times but it makes for a good buzz and thus more interest. They know exactly what they are doing.
 
If I order the space grey Sport. Are the bands interchangeable afterwards? It only comes with black when you preorder. Ships in June.
