Traditionally, we see a draw down of Apple Store inventory on products that are about to be discontinued.

The lead time for a new MacBook typically increases significantly. You can force Apple to ship from China by customizing the order with a non-local keyboard.

However, we're not seeing this with MBP 13.

The lead time to get a MacBook Air is longer than MBP 13.

If Apple is launching a MacBook Pro tomorrow, it certainly doesn't seem like it.

Well the rumor is they’re coming out with an M2 version but I don’t see this happening. The MacBook Air is still available and that’s supposed to be upgraded as well. It seems pretty much every base model Mac that should be in stock is available for pick up today so maybe nothing gets upgraded ?
