Delivery from Apple UK?

Hey guys, Just order the new Imac, and it gets dispatched on the 24th then delivered on the 29th. Seems like an eternity. I was just wondering if the dates Apple UK give are accurate or if they are completly off? Or if it will be here early

Apple is very good at what the business world calls "managing expectations". Most times, they over-estimate delivery time so that you can be ecstatic when it arrives "early".

This happened to me when i ordered a MacBook Black Penryn edition for my daughter to be delivered and it was meant to be delivered on her birthday but the bastards sent it 2 days earlier and so daddy gets a call thanking him for his early birthday present. /////....
