Yeah. This is very much a non-news. The pre-orders started 4 days ago. Once you miss the 24h window, you risk receiving your iPad 2-3 weeks later.
If you want an iPad faster, you can stand in line, or pay a lot more and get one on ebay or craigslist.
It'll come in a couple of days. No worries! I did not order my first iPad till about a month or so after launch. It still had the excitement of iPad land since I had to specifically sign up for one at the Apple store and wait for the pick up email, etc.
My thoughts exactly. I have to wait until March 23 to order, and then at least 1-2 weeks before it is delivered.
Says "Ships by March 19," which means it will shipped on or before that date, and arrive later.
Boohoo, you won't get your luxury item for a whole two weeks after launch!

That's still a fantastic time to ship. It was much worse to try to get an iPad 1 or an iPad 2 if you missed the launch window. Months. Having it delivered just a couple of weeks away is a very fast turnaround for this demand. They must be seriously pumping out the product.
