Delivery Prior to 4/24

Haven't there been launches, in past, where Apple has shipped and delivered the devices a few days before the stated release? I don't expect it to be here before the 24th, but I'm excited and just wondering on which past product launches this has occurred; I know it's happened at least once.

The shipping companies have made mistakes in the past and people have gotten iPhones a day or two early.
