basically when a sms is delivered. a message is sent to you with a confirmation of the delivery. this helps me as sometimes i know if the sms is still pending or not,

So you mean if you send a SMS message to someone, you want to know if it's possible to get a message back saying that the person got it?

If that's the case, then no, it doesn't do that.

yea! in the uk its a norm...

u have it on most nokia phones...jus says...delivery report: pending/delivered

Yes, it's common in the US as well. I have had several Motorals in the RAZR/KRZR family that did this when I was on T-Mobile. You sent the SMS and got an SMS back stating the time the SMS was delivered to the recipient.
