delivery to apartment (i wont be there)

i live in an apartment building and i have to work on the day that my iphone is supposed to be delivered. Usually with packages if no one is at the apartment, theyll go to the leasing office and have them sign for the package and leave it there. Will the delivery person do the same thing with my iphone, or do the delivery instructions say they can only deliver it to the place of residence?
