I orded my macbook pro on october 15th. Apple says it will be delivered on november 6th.
Is this normal?
My PC died today so its quite a long time without a comp.
Don't worry, it's normal. Especially with a BTO machine.
I ordered mine about 20 minutes after they were announced and I have to wait until November 4th until it gets here.
Hang on, it'll be worth it.

I ordered and payed (w/o cc) mine at 20th of October. On the 23rd the shipping progress changed to 'not yet shipped'. And the shipping date is about 1-2 weeks and should arrival between 5th and 13th of November in Amsterdam, NL
I've already set a countdown timer for the 5th and 13th on my iPhone (my first Apple)

I ordered my MacBookPro at ICentre Amsterdam CS.
Now I am waiting impatiently for the phonecall that she arrived...
Ordered a CTO-model (2,53GHz, upgraded the harddisk to 320/7200).
I hope that doesn't take too much time....
Any more switchers? Open to any advice!

I'm a (dutch) switcher as well. If you compare it to other orders, I'd say your MBP will arrive somewhere between monday 3rd and friday the 7th of November.
Maybe you can request the ordernumber from ICentre which they got from Apple. Then you can track your order yourself.

therefore, i think its normal that you have to wait that long...
it takes longer in europe, not only in netherlands...

Ouch! Are there any apple stores near you, but that won't help if it is a BTO
I live in Belgium and ordered a mbp on the 16th.
I'm getting it between november 7th - 10th.
And it's shipped via Tilburg in the Netherlands.

That's pretty weird, i'm from Denmark, i ordered mine the 14th october about an hour after the event! Mine has travelled thru both netherlands and germany and will be here on monday! Does anybody know wether UPS deliver on saturdays or not?
