Dell 2405 USB Ports/Card Reader not working with MBP

Just as title says, monitor's USB cord is connected....any ideas?

What do you have plugged into the 2405? Has it ever worked?

I used to have the same problem with my keyboard, mouse and usb drive plugged into the 2405, and the 2405 plugged into my powerbook.

I stuck a powered usb hub between the dell hub and my pb and the problem disappeared.

I'm using the same configuration with my new mbp now with no problems.

Yeah, it worked under windows no problem...I mainly use it as a card reader and a port for my shuttle pro
