Dell 30" monitor price drop to $1279.

I paid $1349 last week and it arrived last night. Prior to this I was using the Dell 20-inch LCD. I thought that monitor was good, but the color, contrast and uniformity of the 3007WFP is visibly better. Fortunately, Dell provides price protection if the base price drops within 30 days of purchase.

Needless to say I am extremely satisfied with my 30-inch Dell. And zero dead pixels.

Wow, I just looked at Dell.co.uk - they're selling it for more pounds than you can buy it in Dollars - that's at least twice the price!?!?!

Remmber that the UK price includes VAT (17.5%) and the US price is exclusive of sales tax i understand.

Still getting ripped off in the UK though...

I was going to get it, but I already have a 42" Samsung Plasma with a VGA input.... so I settled for the 24" 2407FPW

BTW, I got a great deal on mine - $620 shipped.

This is an amazing price. I've been thinking about getting a 30 inch sometime in the near future. Although, I can't decide between an ACD or a Dell. I would love to stay all Apple, but now that you can save around 800$, I think i'm almost sold. Unless Apple makes a dramatic price change, I think I'm going the Dell. Has anyone had any problems with a Dell dispaly yet?

Looks like the price is for a limited time only. It's 20% off for now and 15% off for some of the other flat panels. Even though I just bought a 2405fpw, I think i might upgrade.
