Hi guys i have dell 7910 that has one free mini sas 1 free on mother board now i have sound card essence stx 2 that requires power from a molex i have Molex Sata Connector from one of my HD powering the sound card. In order not to go this route and to power my HD how can i provide power to the sound card. According to the video below i can see they are using sata connectors to power additional HD via sas mini 1 but i cant find this cable anywhere. But i did find this cable
https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=26070 which is original part for mini sas 0 but i was told that it will not work they said his cable is for PDU and will not work but i can see it has sata connections including power. I was also looking at this cable on amazon. basically I NEED TO FEED POWER TO MY SOUND CARD WITHOUT TAKING ANY FROM HARD RIVES

Cable Matters Internal Mini SAS to SAS Cable
