Dell 968W Printer

I currently have this printer and works great under Windows, but nothing under OSX. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to work to at least print or suggest another printer that has about the same features that work under both?

For basic printing, use the PC as a server:

I don't have personal experience, but I'm guessing that for photo printing you'll need a new printer.

I guess I could do a VMware session or something like that, but I didn't want to go like that to do it.

Dell 968w with Mac OS X 10.6

Dell does not have a Mac driver but the Lexmark 9500 Series driver works.

I documented the process i used to get wireless printing working for me.

Please help

I installed the lexmark 9500 series driver on my macbook pro to print wirelessly with my existing dell968w printer and it works great! however, it displays an error message with an ! on my mac that the printer is out of paper and ink?!? although the printer does in fact have paper/ink. maybe a just a glitch? but this is still is rather annoying. anyone know how to fix this? or have the same problem?
