Dell A940 Printer w/ Mac OS X 10.5.1

I have finally seen the light and purchased an iMac. I absolutely love it! However, being a PC user my whole life I am having a little adjustment issues. I know there are ways to make windows printers work with Macs, but I don't understand how to. I was hoping for a little insight on how to connect my Dell A940 printer to my iMac so that I can at least finish using all the ink I had already purchased for it. I already bought a new HP that works with the iMac, but it is out of ink and as I said I would like to use the ink I already purchased if possible.

So if someone could give me a step-by-step guide on how to install the Dell A940 on my iMac I would really appreciate it.

Please remember that I am a NEW mac user so I need specific instructions.

Dell doesn't provided Mac drivers for its inkjet printers, so the only way to use that printer is with a PC acting as server:
