Dell G2410H or P2310H - Monitor Advice

Hey guys, im Ian from Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is my first post :D. Im needing some advice. Actually i have a 2009 24" iMac (C2D 2.8) and a 2008 15" MacBook Pro (C2D 2.5). Im selling both computers, cause imac is reflecting so much, causing me eye strain, and also its very bright (Tried shades already but it only applies dark layers) and the macbook pro cause the problems of nvidia 8600gt GPU. I prefer to avoid it while its working good. So, the point is, ill be buying a new mac, and also a new display, matte obviously, never again a glossy for desktop.

Think ill go fot the 2.4 13" new macbook pro. And im between these two Dell monitors. (I choose dell cause i like the non shiny plastic, so it will scratch less when cleaning, o and they delivery it right at my home)

So:

The G one its LED. And the P is regular LCD. But it haves DP, and more mobility(rotate, etc).

Should i go LED or stay with de P one.

Ill miss the IPS panel of the imac, but i wont buy a DELL U2410 cause of the tinting issues they have, what a pity!

Yes, the P2310H have it.

Oops, sorry, I thought you were referring to the G2410. :eek:

Yea, DP is nice to have, but definitely not a deal breaker.
 
Dell has recently released a new 23" model that's actually IPS for US $299. Model number is U2311H. And there's a 21.5" model for about $50 less. Choose one of these and you won't have to give up the quality of an IPS monitor. U2311H has VGA, DVI, Displayport and 4 USB ports. Also, the screen rotates 90 degrees as well. Thanks for pointing out the coupon after I posted about the U2311H earlier. I just sold my Samsung P2350 on Craigslist and ordered this Dell within the last hour. I can't wait for it to arrive, but now I wish I'd expedited it. :)
