Hello,

This is really driving me crazy, and was wondering if anyone might have any thoughts on:

Have a new Dell keyboard with a relatively new iMac.
Running High Sierra.

Using a quite new copy of MS WORD.

Usually works quite well.
No problem keeping up with my typing, and having the correct letters
appear AS I type them.

Most common problem is that it simply skips accepting and displaying
letters as I type. I'm a fairly fast typist, but not that fast !

But, perhaps 25 % or so of the time, it either won't type a letter, or an incorrect
letter, or incorrect spacing happens.

The USB Dongle for the keyboard is only about 6 inches from the keyboard.
New batteries.

a. Do you think it is a keyboard problem, a Dongle problem, or a "bug" in WORD ?

b. Is his a known problem ?

c. Are there any settings, anywhere, to perhaps adjust or change ?

Not sure, but I don't think I experienced this with an older Logitech keyboard.
Might have, but it would have been rare.

Thoughts on ?

Thanks,
Bob

"Thoughts on ?"

I'd try a WIRED keyboard.

Wireless is great for mice.
For keyboards, not so much.
