Hi,

I'm looking into buying a 20 inch Dell flat panel.

I would like to buy a widescreen, and I know that the ultrasharp monitors are supposed to be really great.

What I want to know, is two things, first.

Does the 20 inch ultrasharp http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=dhs&cs=CADHS1&sku=320-4688

Support HDMI

Second is this 20 inch monitor: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=ca&l=en&s=dhs&cs=CADHS1&sku=320-5123

significantly worse than the ultrasharp.

I currently have a 17 inch Intel iMac, and want a second display, but in the next 2 or three 3 years I will be buying a desktop, likely a Mac Pro, and will be getting two displays for that.

I do a lot of video editing, but I will likely not being doing anything in HD.

So, basically, will the cheaper 20 inch monitor look worse than the screen I have on the iMac?

Is there anything else I should consider?

Thanks

No, the 20" Dell Monitor does not support HDMI. As far as which one to buy, if you're doing video editing of any kind, get the ultrasharp.
