I just got my S2409W in and am now running my MBP to it via DVI and PS3 via HDMI. When switching to HDMI input, the PS3 video is fine, but no audio. I have my desktop Labtec 3 piece computer speakers hooked up to the audio out jack on the monitor. In the settings on the PS3 I have audio output via HDMI and on the monitor I put "Line Out Source" as "PC Audio"...is this correct?

I know that, but there are two audio out jacks on the monitor.

Anyway, I turned off "Power Save Audio" on the monitor and it is working fine now.

Redshft can you confirm that your PS3 is plugged in via HDMi then you take the audio out of the 3.5mm Jack on the monitor and connect that to your speakers?
If so do you experience any audio drop out? It is/was a problem with this monitor that if a game/movie went quiet on HDMI the audio would cut out for 15-20 seconds?

If so could you see if you have the A00 or A01 model? I'm lokoing at getting one of these monitors but I dont want to end up getting something with borked hdmi audio routing.

audio is supported with HDMI, but you will need the make sure the audio signal is being sent from the PS3(audio settings), also to hear anything you will need to have the stereo out from the monitor to speaker/headphones.

Your set up sounds fine from what you said. The only thing might be your Line audio out PC audio since I would assume the monitor reckons HDMI is not from your computer...

I would recommend staying away from this monitor, I regret my purchase. The HDMI port on mine quit working after a week and after many emails and hours spent on the phone with Dell's horrible technical support, they finally sent me a new one 3 weeks later.
