Hi I am looking for a good IPS monitor that is not too hefty on the pocket. U2311h (CCFL) has pretty good reviews and I am thinking about getting that.

Supposedly the U2312hm is suppose to be coming soon as well. Q3 per dell. Its supposed to be LED backlit. In general the LED backlit IPS monitors that I have seen are inferior the CCFL ones. Also knowing dell's history they rarely release two great products in a row....kinda like windows. So I just wanted an opinion...should I pull the trigger on the U2311h or is there any advantage in waiting? Thanks for your input.

If you can find one at a good price, I'd say get a U2311h now

I was able to snag 2 Dell U2311 monitors off Dell's ebay store for a cool $200/ea. The crazy deal rotate in and out, so you will need to look a regular basis.

Is there a link on ebay to check? Or which buyer did you get it from? Thanks.

I am also looking forward to buy an U2311. Is it worth waiting for U2312?
Will they replace only the backlight or will they remove additional features like the great stand, etc? Or will it be priced above $300 USD?
Any guesses?
