I plan on getting a 24" monitor for photoshop and Lightroom work. I will most likely be buying a Dell U2410. But is there a new u2411 around the corner? Also if there is is it best not get the newer one because the newer model may be buggy or are they pretty good about their new products. I don't have any experiences with Dell products, but from what i have read the U2410 should fit my needs nicely.
Thanks

A little typo showed up today. It leads to the U2410 on sale but it was something of note.

I would consider the Dell U2412M a worthy display if you are willing to accept eIPS. It is good enough for 1920 x 1200 at the US$299-399 price it is sold it.

Ya I just realized the 2411 is a p2411, so maybe there is still a new U2411 coming. I hope so because I will feel shafted if I have to downgrade to a replacement I am not happy with.

The U2412M does look like a nice display though :}

Dell's Professional Series is updated on a different timetable. They share many of the ergonomic and inputs/USB hub features of the Ultrasharp line short of the eIPS/IPS panel. If you can manage on TN, the savings and features are there. As the name suggests it is more than likely for a non-specialized office setting and possibly with multiple displays.

I am using one. It's a great display for the price. I am planning to get a couple more for the office.

Ditto. I to just got a Dell U2412M, after much research, hearing from both sides of the fence and glad I got this one. Had my old 2407FWP that went south and the U2412M is a nice replacement. Got the sound bar with it, text is sharp, Youtube is very good, movies are not on my list of priorities and the menu is better to navigate if needed.
