Hello,

has anybody had any issues with connecting to a 21:9 monitor?

I have run into two issues so far as follows:

When I connect my 2016 MacBook Pro, the resolution is kind of funny in the default mode, like it's only 1920x? pixels. To get the 3840x1600 px resolution, I have to select scaled and select the smallest text option.
However when I do that, for example Pages crashes frequently when I open an existing document, while if I switch back to default for display, which gives me the weird low resolution I can open what ever document I want in Pages without the app crashing.

Any thoughts on this matter would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

I have seen a similar issue with mine as far as having to set up scaling. It appears the beta classifies this monitor as a Retina display.
