Hello, I am looking at this screen that seems very good for my purpose. Even though the unit is capable to run at full 4k res, I would probably use it at 2560x1440. Just wondering how this unit works at this its non native res. I've also read something about the "wake up" issue that this unit has when it goes to sleep and I'd like to know if I would stay away from this by setting all my energy prefs to never, leaving only the screen saver on

If you want to use the display at 1440p... buy a 1440p display.

It's not a good idea to use LCD display at non-native definition.

My plan was to use it in this reduced res until I change my mac due to the fact that the one I own works up to 2560x1600 with its hd 5770. However I've seen that the wake up issue is a common problem with all Dell units, at least from what I've seen on other fora, then I will probably go to a 2560x1600 unit, maybe a Nec EA274.
