I'll really like some help please.
I have a Dell 2407 monitor which is connected to my MacBook. The monitor also acts as a USB hub and also contains a memory card reader. Therefore the monitor is also connected to the MacBook by a USB cable.
For the last 6 months or so, I've had no problems using the 4 USB hub or card reader. Even though Dell does not support Apple etc, it just worked fine by connecting the monitor to the MacBook.
BUT, all of a sudden the 4 USB hub and card reader stopped working!! All of the cables are still plugged in, nothing has changed, but it just fails to work.
I've tried unplugging and plugging, rebooting, resetting the NVRAM/PRAM thingy, but nothing seems to get the thing to work again!
It's so frustrating because I used the monitor as a USB hub a lot.
Has anyone else had this problem, or know what I should do? Should I reinstall Leopard? But I don't want to wipe my hard drive.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
