So, couple of days ago I was cleaning the screen on my MacBook Pro 15 2018 when I noticed there was something that I couldn't remove, even though I tried couple of times. It turns out that I have some kind of scratch or dent, don't know how to call it, on my screen. It is very small, but still, since the machine is only half a year old, it saddens me to see that. What I'm curious about is: I take really, like really REALLY good care of the computer, it doesn't have any dent, scratch, nothing whatsoever. I'm sure I didn't cause this. So, what could have dented the screen? If anyone has similar experience or wants to chime in, any response will be helpful. Can I send it over to Apple to fix it? Thanks!

P.S. that thing left of the cursor is the 'scratch' / 'dent/ or whatever you'd call it. Couldn't take a better picture, sorry.

Is that an actual scratch on the screen?
You should be able to feel that with a fingernail.

If not, could just be a stuck pixel or two.
If you are near an Apple store, you could take it in, and ask about that area.
You might find out that you have some issue that can be repaired under the warranty.

A physical scratch might be covered as an incident under AppleCare+, if you purchased that when new - too late for that now.
