I'm trying to find a way to install Desert Combat (the Battlefield 1942 mod) on my iMac late 2012. (OS X 10.8.2. Fusion Drive. NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB.) I know the game/mod is very old, but me and my friends used to play it a lot a few years ago and we would like to do it again.
Origin (EA) - The Mac version of BF1942 is not available yet (or will it ever be?!). The PC version is free. No luck there.
Battlefield 1942 for Mac. - Does not work. The game is for PPC.
I have a legit serial and a physical copy of the PC game. I'm not a big fan of running Windows on my Mac and it seems like it's kinda tricky to use Boot Camp with a Fusion Drive.
Should I just stop dreaming and find another game or is there anyone out there who could help me out?
