Design apps

I'm looking for an app that will help me design some projects that I will later build.

Apparently SketchUp won't work on my 2011 mba so I need an alternative

Are you looking for 2D or 3D? If 2D then we have our own CAD software called MacDraft Professional which is perfect for floor planning, architectural design and much more. Other applications that may help you of course are vectorworks and autocad the majority of CAD apps offer a free trial so don't go spending your money until you find the right one. good luck!

I use AutoDesk Inventor Professional 2016 and I love it. I use the free student version(I am a student)
