Hey guys,

I posted a while back about a Macally enclosure sparking from the power supply port and shutting down computers when plugged in.

After getting fed up with having to restart computers every time I wanted to use my drive, I got it replaced with a brand new one and the new one does the exact same thing. Just this morning I plugged it in; the same huge spark and the computer shuts down. I'm totally confused. Is is at all possible that it's the HD that's doing this? It's a 250GB Seagate baracuda that, with the exception of the enclosure housing it, has run quiet and fast for the time i've had it.

Thanks for any help
