The First one looks ABSOLUTELY horrible.

The second looks nice; I'm not sure if I like it more or less than the current control center.

The third is an improvement.

The fourth and fifth do make the icons look better.

the sixth looks exactly the same as current icons.

Seventh is very out of place.

The eighth does not fit the theme at all.

You could have posted this in the massive numbers of threads already discussing the iOS 7 design. This did not need its own thread.

I really hope the final editions of the icons resemble the ones in this thread... please, Apple. The most obnoxious part I've noticed is the brightening of the color scheme (Messages, Phone, Facetime). The green is so bright it hurts. :(

Beautifully designed. How I wish iOS 7 looked like that, especially the control center and the other stuff. Somebody should email that directly to Tim Cook or Jony Ive!

Credit to whoever mocked that up. Very clean!

The problem with all these comps is that if Apple ends up with anything close all we'll here is how they aped that designer and Apple can't do anything original.

keep calm and wait for Jailbreak. i hope apple improves those silly icons so that i dont have to wait for the JB. but i will say that iOS7 is WAY better than iOS6

Do we really need another thred like this? In case people have forgotten this is version 1 beta of of software that had the entire UI redesigned in about 6 months. Lets see what it looks like in 2-3 months. Or better yet iOS 8 when they've has time to really refine the product.

Love this IOS7 icons concept:

That's pretty good, where's it from?
I like the drop shadows, Apple should add them back.

"Flat" modern apps like Letterpress look great with a drop shadow:

Settings icon is great! It really fits well and makes more sense than some cogs. Plus it's taken from an actual control. Cogs don't control anything on the iPhone compared to switched (UI)

Photos, notes and Mail look too simple or like Google. Safari looks too small and "cute"

It doesn't really matter how consistent Apple makes their app icons, it means nothing when they are arranged amongst all of your 3rd party apps.

It might even look worse if they all had the same style. You'd end up with home screens that looked like you applied an incomplete theme.
