'Desktastic' question

Does Panic's desktastic 3 actually let you write/draw on your screen as if it were a touch screen? Or does it allow drawing by a mouse? I'm pretty sure its just a program that lets you draw with a mouse but their website is a little misleading and I just wanted to see for sure.

It just follows the cursor.

Enabling touch screen would require a hardware change.
