Desktop Alias icons wrong after clone:

Hello,

After successfully cloning my 250gb drive to a new one I have the old desktop alias's which dont have any icons associated with them. If I delete them and recreate them(in the apps folder) and move the new ones to the desktop they still dont have an icon associated. I even go to the info and point it to the existing app with no luck.This doesnt happen for all applications just a handful. Any ideas?

Have you tried restarting your computer, or at least restarting the Finder?

Yes, thanks. Had to wipe out the OS and reinstall anyhow for other reasons.
